Local Governance Fellowship
Individuals who possess a strong motivation to make a difference in their community will be working as fellows with elected representatives in local government to enhance good governance and social inclusion. Elected women belonging to Dalit, Adivasi, and Nomadic communities experience most hardship in governing their Panchayat Raj Institutions.
Fellows will conduct participatory training programs and consultations with Dalit-Adivasi elected representatives and government officials on building their skills on efficient resource mobilization, understanding budgetary allocations and effectively implementing socio-economic schemes for the benefits of excluded groups.
